There are so many ways to get involved in our community projects …
DRIVERS
Anyone with a vehicle and clean driving license wanting to pick up and deliver goods or shopping to clients on an ad hoc basis, or merely transport goods.
Especially needed is someone with access to a large delivery vehicle; ideally a van. We currently don’t have one available for use and often have to forego the opportunity of FREE large items (such as sofas) for our clients as a result.
SHOPPERS
People willing to shop (and deliver where possible) for a client - A car maybe useful here but is not always essential.
HELPERS - SKILLED and ENTHUSIASTS
We are wanting to compile a ‘Directory of helps’ and need people willing to give a few hours here and there to help with skills they may have - handyman skills like decorating, putting up a curtain pole or curtains, gardening, Pro Bono Financial advisors, etc.
MAYBE…… you are retired or work part-time; could you spare 2 hours a week?
If you are a skilled tradesperson, could you donate labour?
Are you a lady or man with a van; happy to transport goods for our clients?
Are you someone qualified to test donated appliances like fridges, freezers or equipment for clients?
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!
